I do not wear them, NO. BUT, I have glasses. I really should start wearing them since I notice more and more I'm having a hard time seeing.

I stopped wearing contacts about 10 years ago. I wear glasses but hate them.
one day I'll do the surgery...

Yes. I've tried contacts, but I can't seem to be able to get a pair that works for me. Maybe some day I'll have the surgery.
