Glasses make you look geeky/nerdy

One common stereotype of a person who wears glasses is that he is a nerd/geek

People will generally think that you are inferior in sports, but smarter, and more knowledgeble in computers etc

Whats worse, is that generally, glasses make a person less attarctive

Since I have myopia, I am planning to get contact lens
I heard that lasik and prk are pretty dangerous, so I will probably not do it until the technology matures.

I like wearing glasses. I LOVE women that wear glasses. Many guys who wear glasses do indeed look "geeky" (not that that's a bad thing); however, if someone actually gets a nice looking pair of glasses, I think they look really nice.

Women in glasses = teh sexy

Completely depends on the face, and the glasses. Most g/f's that I've had prefered me with glasses, than without. I've got a baby face (well, when I'm clean shaven anyway) and glasses add maturity to my look.

It's more of a wisdom/maturity look than geeky/nerdy look. But, then I wear small and thin framed glasses. Not some big ol honkin black frames with coke bottle lenses.

guys that wear glasses will appear more geeky, but can also make one look smarter

The glasses that I am wearing is really cool, girl have commented on how cool they look..

that has to be one of the most ignorant comments i've heard in awhile, not to mention how dumb it sounds. It really depends on the type of glasses you pick.

My wife thinks I look smarter/more mature/sexier now that I wear glasses. Of course I'm also 29 now. My 6 year old daughter thinks I look funny with them. Go figure.

Ummm.. yeah... let's all use TV as a basis for reality...

I think a lot of it depends on how well the style of glasses loox on the persons face. You can't just grab any pair off the shelf you have to find a pair that look good on you.

I prefer how I look w/glass as opposed to w/o glasses. The glasses sort of "balance out" my look. Depending on my mood I usually slither between a lite-punk, goth, or metal style of dress and the glasses tend to add a bit of contrast to my overall appearence and I like that.

I am probably the best looking dude on the planet. It makes no difference whether I wear my glasses or not. The hot babes crawl all over me. It gets really annoying sometimes. Sit and try and eat an ice cream cone and it's can I have a lick. I finally got a pair that's got go funny eyes pasted inside and a big hooked nose and huge mustache just so I can get some peace. Being beautiful isn't always so cool. Girls, however do really look better in glasses, in my opinion, at least they do in my glasses. I have X-ray glasses.
