Gladiac Ultra vs Prophet II Ultra...

I have both due to a canceled upgrade...but i'm planning to sell one...after looking up current prices...the Hercules seems to be more in demand and therefore sell higher? why is that? I don't think there's that much difference between them other than the DVI output.

Yeah, go figure. I have neither card, but was told that the Elsa has the best 2D out of all of the GeForce cards out there. (That's only what I've heard) Therefore, I would choose Elsa over Hercules, IMHO.

Even though my card is only a Hercules GF2 Pro, it still does not detract from overall performance in blueness benchmarks

You can't put a price tag on blueness. Most guys would pay $100 extra for blue

Why is anyone buying a GF2 Ultra today anyways? This is a card that is in no mans land and will probably be much cheaper in a bit when they try to dump the inventory.

For $100 more you can get the GF3 that is MUCH better than an Ultra in every respect. And for about $50-$60 less you can get a Pro that is almost as fast as an Ultra in every respect.

You have to remember; Blue is cooo! Anyway, I'd sell the Herc. Since everyone likes blue they will pay more for it. The Elsa is better anyway, so keep that one.

Well on pricewatch an Ultra can be had for nearly $100 less than GF3, and for todays games they are pretty similar I thought, memory speed is similar.

What I thought was really dumb was the prices at CompUSA today. I went there to buy some RJ45 cables and I saw a Visiontak GF3 for $400, and right next to it the Prophet 2 Ultra for $500. That is just stupid.
