OK, this will be a totally un-PC thread, however we can keep it civil.

The objective is, name one person you're glad is dead. However there's a catch. The person has to have been well liked or regarded, their death mourned, and you have to give a dissenting opinion that it's a good thing they're dead. You need to justify you're answer. You're justification dosen't have to be valid, but you have to at least make an effort.

I'll start.

Peter Jennings, I'm glad he's dead. He was one of the key figureheads of the liberal media establishment for 30+ years. He worked to undermine freedom, quietly, subtly pushing the virtues of big government, socialism, and the evils of capitalism.

Total Flamebait plus it's political in nature

JFK.

He is the reason I can't go to my local tobacco shop and buy a cuban cigar.

come on let's kick it up.

I too am glad JFK is dead, purely for the reason that had he lived, my parents might never have met, I would have never been born.

One of those 3 famous Russian communists, if one of them were around the Czech Republic in the 1915's I wouldn't be here.

Pierre Trudeau (for us Canadians).

He literally fingered my province (BC). Also, he was the only leader in Canada to use martial law during peacetime (to arrest Quebec separatist sympathizers during a terrorist crisis which was solved by regular police work).

Mother Teresa.

If there was a Hell, that bitch would be there. Fortunately for her, she's just dead. Her legacy of feeding off human suffering like an emotional vampire shall be forever enshrined in the annals of the Catholic church.

Christopher Reeves

He sucked as an actor and was annoying as an activist.
I wish he had died during his accident and made the world a better place.
