Glad I'm not in School Anymore Daily Updates by email now...

Just got my daily email on daughter #1's grades, attendance, etc, just signed up for daily updates via email.

If they had this level of communication when I was in school, my a$$ would have been grounded constantly😀

Grading period: W5
Student: Pliablemoose, Daughter #1
Course: MATH 7 PRE-AP
Period: 8
Instructor: *****, Linda
Current overall grade: 67

02/24/03 "Table of Content" Grade: 0 (0/100=0%)
02/28/03 "TAK Packet 1-4" Grade: 83 (83/100=83%)
03/04/03 "Geometry Project" Grade: 98 (98/100=98%)
03/06/03 "4th 6 Weeks test" Grade: 91 (91/100=91%)
03/09/03 "Mock TAKS" Grade: 88 (88/100=88%)

Everything else is 90% & above, also got an email from the teacher, telling me she can still recieve credit for the missing assignment. Poor kid hates her math teacher.

Oh come on, how's she everr supposed to have any fun with you watching over her constantly.... she's never going to be able to leave at lunch with her friends and go to the beach.

That's a great idea.

It can keep the parents in the loop with how their child is doing without the teacher having to actually call 200 parents a day.

Edit: I, too, would've been screwed if this had been around when I was in school. I didn't do very much homework. 😱

I understand the reasoning behind it...but it's kind of micromanaging your child's life. Seem's a little excessive IMHO.
