I made a thread about what id do if I was a billionaire.

1. Payoff and close, who am I kidding we all know he'd keep it open until the 0% expires.

2. I would build boarding school for orphans and foster kids.

3. I would build hotels for people born in 1994

4. I would breed the fastest air land sea animals

5. And just now I've been thinking about creating electric vans with a generator as a engine.

He wants to get an electric van and remove the main battery. Then put a diesel generator where the engine would be in an ICE van and use that to power the van.

Actually Scout is doing that with the Harvester system in their new truck & SUV! Very novel setup:

* Most Americans drive ~40 miles a day
* The EREV (battery + gas range extender) version gets 150 miles of EV-only range
* The vehicle is powered ONLY by e-motors, so the gas engine & generator combo system is for charging only

* There is a gas-engine-powered generator adds 350 miles of range, so 500 miles total
* The generator feeds the battery once the battery drops to 20% or 30%, which runs the e-motors
* It uses a naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a creative cooling & intake solution and a 15-gallon gas tank mounted behind the rear axle to drive the gas generator

Very very cool setup. But I learned my lesson with my Jeep Renegade...I will give them a few years to work the bugs out LOL

I heard that generators produces a lot more electricity then the alternator on a car. I don't think I could power 5 gaming laptops at once with just using the alternator.

Like I said, I wanted the primary function is to produce electricity and it's secondary use is to drive the van.

And I don't have a driver's license yet, I never had enough money for a car.
So maybe your first action should be learning to drive?

A standard ICE van alternator can output 1500-3000 watts...

You can buy kits that let you mount multiple alternators too. The car audio guys do crazy shenanigans that require a ridiculous amount of power.
