Guys,
Being an oldtime PC user from the DOS days I've grown to become rather paranoic with my folder structure and file organization. I use multiple programs to keep things in order, and I find it hard to trust my files' organization to programs that want to do that "automatically", for instance iTunes for music and Picasa for pictures.
But now I find myself in a situation where I'm missing tags really badly. I don't want to use a single-purpose program for each filetype, but instead a program that'll let me manually tag my files, regardless of their extensions, in a non-destructive way, i.e., in an external searchable database, preferable a centralized one - I find it hard to stand all those "thumbs.db" kind of files thrasing each and every one of my folders...
Does anybody know of a solution to do this, please? I'd be willing to pay.
Thanks a lot!
