Giving props to the review community here.

Five years ago, power supply reviews were "I plugged it in and it worked!". I just want to give props to Anandtech, Jonnyguru, and HardOCP for developing test plans and acquiring the equipment needed to actually test power supplies under load, measure noise, and smoke the failures when they deserve it.

Is that one of those 585W HEC PSUs? I bought one of those, haven't used it for anything though. I figure it's got to be at least 400W in reality.

Yeah, I opened it up and there's marking for a 250 in there. 400W would be wishful thinking IMO.

Yup, I can dig it out again, but iirc it was something like "200/250/300", which isn't close to 585.

Just checked, the PCB has marking drawn over with a sharpie that feature 250W or 300W.

Rectifiers are a bridge FL406, pair of MBR3045PT, FETs are 09N03LA, S7912PI (no heatsink, -12V linear regulator),HFS2N60 and one I can't read clearly.
Transformer markings:
ERL-35-14, DPT-0529F2A
RC EEL-16SB-10

The caps are all Teapo

Edit:
The 2 12V rails are seperated by a thick PCB trace and a bunch of solder, meaning: 1 12V rail, not two
