I have a shared folder on my PC running winxp and I would like to allow my laptop access the share. The username on my pc is different from the username on the laptop's. How do I give access to the share on my laptop? It's connected via wifi..

You could create a user account on your desktop that has the same username and password as the laptop account. Then just give that account permissions.
