It's been a long time since I gamed on my PC so my current specs are pretty out dated (I think I built this back in 2009).

Asus M4N82 Deluxe mobo
Phenom II X4 940 3.0GHz
7200 RPM hard drive
GTX 260
4GB Ram
650 Watt PS

I'm trying to avoid a whole new build if possible, so my question is, could I get away with just a new video card - GTX 960 (seems to be the sweet spot for budget cards right now) and SSD drive in and expect to play newer games at 1080p?

Will the CPU keep up with a newer video card?

Will just 4 gigs of ram cut it these days?

Thanks

4Gb of RAM really doesn't cut it any more. But I'd do the 960 and SSD before the RAM, unless you're a strategy gamer. If you're a 4x strategy guy, do the RAM before the 960.
