Chili - always comes out good, and can be easily modified to add whatever peppers/seasonings you personally like.

Start it tomorrow morning, it'll be ready at night - the beauty of the slow cooker is you can leave things on low for long periods of time, it's not like it will burn.

a quantity of beef or pork (roast or country style ribs), a chopped up onion and a bottle of bbq sauce. you can slice it (if it's a roast) the first night and shred the leftovers for sammiches, or just shred the whole thing before you eat it, your choice. buy a tub of slaw or make a batch yourself, some summer tomatoes sliced.. biscuits rolls or cornbread..

a hunk of beef, some carrots and onions chopped up, some celery or green pepper or both if you want, some mushrooms if you want, a package of instant onion soup and a can of mushroom soup over top. make a pot of rice to go with. and a salad.

same drill with chicken pieces and golden mushroom soup, veggies in with that suit you and the chicken.

chicken pieces. in a pan on the stove cook 1 cup ketchup 1/2 stick butter and 1 c coke (with sugar) til the butter melts and it simmers a minute or 2. pour it over top the chicken and crock it all day.

brown some hamburger, chopped onions, chopped green pepper. toss it in the crock pot with a sack of frozen chunky type hash browns (or part of a sack). add can of mushroom soup and a couple splashes worchestershire sauce and a splash or two of hot sauce if you like... stir it all up.. crock it.

that's best I can do off the top of my head, but oughta get you started.

The recipe with the hash browns sounds ineresting.

you can use a jar/can of brown gravy instead of the soup too.. leave out the worchestershire sauce..
