Give window installers tips?

We are replacing all the windows upstairs.... is it common to give the installers a "tip"? I have no clue. Thanks

I'd say no, they are being paid to do their job already.

I'd tip them if it involves extra work, otherwise just be considerate and offer them soda or something during their job.

That's what I'd do as well. If something becomes incredibly difficult, then sure. But they are doing what they are paid to do so only in extraordinary circumstances.

Only if they remove/reinstall drapes/blinds or move furniture. Have bottled water in the fridge, tell 'em where it is and say "help yourself."
