Hey, i've got a quick question, I was chatting with my friend over there (points to friend or random person) and we need you to help us figure something out... Who do you think lies more..., in relationships, guys or girls?

Insecure people lie, that is all.

Women and men just lie about different things and lie differently

forget the cheesy pick up lines...
try: "Hi, i am _____. I just had to come up to you and tell you how pretty you are."
It is stupidly simple, but it will make her smile and blush!

And doesn't work on girls who get hit on all day.

It works on them too. Unless you are creepy about it.

"You're pretty. Wanna dance?" can work too, if done in a completely innocent way. Make them smile or laugh without feeling intimidated and your are in. :)

LOL, why give that kind of advice? It doesnt work like that in the real world.

It has worked for me in the past. Of course, sometimes they just walk away. Depends on the type of girl you go for. Some girls are too stuck up to take the compliment and give you time to get to know them. Some girls are nice enough to take the compliment and give you a chance.

I have a modification of this that sometimes gets a girl talking to me.

"Hi, I'm shorty lickens, professional adult film actor. Do you have any experience? Would you like an audition?"
This only works if its late and the gals are all drunk and already laughing. It works really well because I look like a mini Ron Jeremy, in fact if I compare myself to him it improves my odds.

Again this technique is only effective at the bar when girls are already drinking.

OUTSIDE the bar, the classic "Hi, my name is Shorty, whats yours?" works so much better.

yep...

Also its a numbers thing. I see it kinda like cold calling... out of 100 calls you'll get 99 NO's! but eventually will get at least 1 YES! Basically its a number thing, gotta play if you wanna win. The difference between ppl who get girls and those that don't is the ability to handle rejection well and brush it off.

Ah ah ah... just a minute... there is a difference between what i said and what you said. You are right, you cannot just go up to a girl and say "you are pretty" but its all about the way it is said and HOW it is said.

EXACTLY. If you can say it without creeping her out and you can make her smile, you are halfway there.

Well ... it works.
I told this lady how amazing her smile was and guess what... we are dating now. :)

You just contradicted yourself, dismissing the 'lame' lines here but then saying its 'the way' and 'how' they are said.

When someone uses a good 'line', its an ice breaker and often humorous, not expected to be an immediate condem opener. People who aren't so uptight get a kick out of creativity and humor, and that may often open up things further.

perhaps you are correct, but keep in mind there are those types of girls and tehre are also the type that would be happy to hear a compliment and invite you to sit down or have a drink with them.

Now it sounds like you're drawing a distinction between sluts and 'classy girls'. Girls like flattery, which both methods can offer plenty of...and girls like confidence in men as well. They also like respect and both methods can be respectful *and* disrespectful, and if the girl thinks you're full of sh!t, it will backfire.

Location is also an important element, such as in a social party or club atmosphere, vs. a more controlled environment or professional atmosphere, which can dictate which approaches can get you in the door for further interaction.

if you meet the above requirments, you can just about say anything and the girl will think you are witty, honest, smart etc...

To the fat, ugly, unattractive, non-successful, living in your parent's basement; to those guys..., no pickup lines going to work...

"You make me want to be a better man." (As Good As It Gets) ;)

Only works on a girl you already have a relationship with.

Err no. The challenge was "best pickup lines." Not "best line to get a free drink by licking your own face". :p
