Give Tactical Ops Its Props!

I was introduced to Unreal Tournament's Tactical Ops mod a few weeks ago from the anandtech user "killbat". Since then, I have logged atleast 5-9 hours a day playing the beautiful mod. If anyone likes this game and wants to start an anandtech clan, please reply.

After playing UT since '99, T.O is a breath of fresh air

I have been playing T.O for only a couple months, and have started to lead the points on most servers I log on to. It was tough at first.

OK, now the bad part... (note; I am very critical)

T.O has soo many little bugs that at times it becomes comical when trying to play a serious game. While some bugs are isolated to the individual level, most are not. For one thing, I was glad that many servers use "CSHP" as this helps against the cheaters (aimbots, ect...). But then again, CSHP is not 100% fool proof. I have seen several players still be able to abuse the system, they can literally ruin a "great-game."

I hear "T.O 2.0" will have MANY issues finally resolved. In the future version, I would like to beable to buy and set mines. Time will tell....

All-in-all... T.O is a must have MOD! As they say.... "it owns."
