What's the absolute worst that can happen? Somebody steals the number and spends $600 on sex toys. You get the bill, dispute it and owe nothing.

I don't understand what the big deal is about giving out your CC number online. I'd be MUCH more concerned about the waiter or gas station attendant having my card.
