Oh STFU. We're talking about two seconds to get a single packet from google. Dialup would be 300 ms or something. Do you know how ridiculously slow that is, let alone over 2000 ms? Regardless of if this is free to me or not....someone is paying and thus I should be able to have a reasonable expectation of service. those are some horrible pings, it would be impossible for gaming. If it is satellite, those are pretty normal pings. If it is satellite, it is possible that there could be several megabits of bandwidth just waiting to be used.

that's just latency...your actually bandwidth and download speeds could be very high.

It's business class DSL, guys; not sattelite. I don't have any throughput either. It's not gaming we're talkiing about, using the internet just plain sucks, and every night it gets this slow.
