LOL. These ideas are not for me. Best friend's little sister is asking. She wants to go hiking somewhere with her dad in a warm climate. (Anything to get out of Boston.)

Go to LA and get one of those star maps. You could hike from place to place and practice one of your favorite skills at the same time!

I am in La Serena, Chile right now and it is very nice. Not too warm (maybe 70 degrees F), but there are tons of mountains/ big hills all over the place plus a nice beach right down the street. On a nearby island I hear there are penguins and dolphins too. Getting down here is expensive though.

Edit: Just realized that it would probably be quite a bit colder by spring break
