Amelie is an insanely good movie. Sort of an existential journey. Really wonderful.

Same goes for LOTR, Royal Tennenbaums, beautiful mind.

Black Hawk Down is really good as well if you're in it more for the action.

If you haven't seen LOTR, see it first.

Suppose I should ask what you usually prefer: action, drama, comedy . . . do you usually agree with reviewers? if so, whom?

well, no LOTR. Both of us have sworn against seeing it. She wanted to see Beautiful Mind, i wanted Blackhawk Down. We alternate movie choices, and its my turn, so i dont have to listen to her suggestions (right...).
