A or B that is. I'm now officially "immune" to A and B. Just got my last regiment of vaccine shots (Twinrix - dual Hep A and B). Last year I got 3 shots ahead of going to China which probably gave me 80-90% immunity, and now I just got the final dose which should give me 98-100%. I had the advanced regiment which meant I had to come back a year later to get a final booster. Good to since I'm just about to leave for Belize in a few days (one week vacation with the parents).

Also feels nice to no longer be DEATHLY afraid of needles like I used to be only a few years back.

You probably shouldn't go round trying to catch hepatitis... who knows what you'll end up with instead...

Hep A - food poisoning from another form of bacteria or virus.

Hep B - Herpes or HIV.

Bs not likely to happen any time soon, still a virgin :( and I'm not stupid. Other forms of food poisoning yeah it could happen. Still feels nice to be protected.

What the fuck do you guys talk about at work? "Hey, got any potentially life threatening, almost incurable diseases?"

He's a strange one. He's bisexual for one and loves to let innuendo slip into his conversation all the time. He jokingly comes on to people ALL the time. I remember he said he would like to make a "film" with me some time. D:

For example we have to let our coworkers know when we take a bathroom break, just so everyone can keep tabs on where everyone is. Quite a few times when I've said quickly "just going to use the washroom" he likes to say "k, need a hand with that"?

He also doesn't take care of himself and is calling in sick all the time so the reason why he's sick naturally comes up.

All of this has nothing to do with this

But fair enough, dude likes dudes and chicks and has a deadly STD. Awesome. Awesome to the max.

In response to PlasmaBomb who said "You probably shouldn't go round trying to catch hepatitis... who knows what you'll end up with instead..."

Well Hep A and B are very different diseases. Hep A is food poisoning and Heb B is an STD. So if I were trying to catch Hep A I would end up with some other form of food poisoning. If I were trying to catch Hep B I would end up with some other STD.

Did you do blood work to confirm that you developed anti-bodies?

Some people do not develop the hepatitis antibodies even though they go through the vaccine series.
