Give me a reason to sell assissin's creed...

Lifer
I finished assassin's creed, but didn't do all the extras like save all the citizens, see all the viewpoints, or collect all the flags.

The game is really solid as far as the world design, though tiring because of the repetition. Should I sell it or keep it in the collection?

I keep all my games. I figure I might want to replay it someday and I always regretted giving away a bunch of my Nintendo games back in the day.

maybe I should look into buying this assassin's creed game...

I've come to a point in my life that I realize I'll never go back and play a majority of the games that I feel I will... there will always be something else I want to play instead of older games. Therefore, if I feel I'm at a point where I really wont play a game anymore, I'll trade it in.

It gets mixed reviews. The maps are pretty large... I respect what they were trying to do with the game and how well they executed it.

From a gameplay point of view, controls were great and fighting was challenging at times, though not particularly difficult.

Do you think you'll ever want to play it again (do you typically replay your old games)? Do you really need the money, or do you think you'll be able to get a reasonable amount for it?

Personally, I keep all of my games because I'm kind of a pack rat / collector of sorts. I rarely revisit them, but I still like having them.

Alright...I guess I'll let it go, but I'm definitely going to wait for the next one in the trilogy to come up on eBay. 😀

What I like about the game is that it's not a 1st person shooter, but gives you the ability to run around in a 3d environment. I'm not a big fan of try to shoot someone with an analog controller for an aiming device. This game allowed me to kill people with limited skill... 😀

You can buy it new weekly for around $38 since Christmas it seems, so if you sell it now, by the time you'd want to replay it, im sure you can buy it back for what you sold it for and break even in the long run.

I have stopped selling my video games because too often i regret it.

I would wait 2 years, if you still have no urge to play it then get rid of it but don't expect to get much for it.

The longer you wait the less you'll get for selling!
I owned the game for 2 months and ended up paying only $5 for those 2 months of ownership after selling it.
