How much would be different?

Other than another war with Iran - no end to DADT...

\just wondering...

1. Wouldn't be $4 trillion in debt in 3 years. Might be $2-3 trillion, but the total would be lower.
2. No Obamacare
3. Osama would still be dead.
4. Economy and stock market would probably be better off since McCain is more pro-business than Obama.
5. Foreign policy is really hard to tell since things are so fluid. But unlikely we are at war with Iraq.

what that, sir? You've proffered why re-elect Obama - I now ask how Mr. McCain would have differed...
Asking about Obama makes sense since he is running, McCain is not running so this thread has no real purpose other than meaningless speculation.

How about "What would have happened if Clinton could have served a third term?"
or
"What if Hillary had run instead of Obama?"

You know, there's video of McCain attacking Obama on taking out Osama...

Edit:

Looks like you are full of shit:
http://www.kvoa.com/news/statement-from-senator-john-mccain-on-osama-bin-laden-s-death/

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.), made the following statement this evening regarding the announcement made by President Obama that Osama Bin Laden has been killed:

"I am overjoyed that we finally got the world's top terrorist. The world is a better and more just place now that Osama bin Laden is no longer in it. I hope the families of the victims of the September 11th attacks will sleep easier tonight and every night hence knowing that justice has been done. I commend the President and his team, as well as our men and women in uniform and our intelligence professionals, for this superb achievement."

"But while we take heart in the news that Osama bin Laden is dead, we must be mindful that al-Qaeda and its terrorist allies are still lethal and determined enemies, and we must remain vigilant to defeat them."

The economy would still suck... and everyone would be blaming McCain for it instead.

Oh, and it's pretty obvious that there would have been no healthcare reform at all, even though McCain promised to outlaw insurance discrimination of pre-existing conditions during the campaign. (Yep, he actually did! Look it up!)

What does a video from their debate prove?

Did McCain say that he wouldn't kill Osama if given the chance?
He criticized what Obama said about going after Osama in Pakistan as did Hillary Clinton.
That doesn't mean he would not have done it himself if he was in the oval office and making that decision.

I think you hit a nerve, UberNeuman. It's amusing.

Why McCain should have been elected?

Because he didn't even know what kind of car he gets chauffeured around in, the price of gas or how many luxurious homes his wealthy wife provides for him?

Because his grandstanding nearly torpedoed the bank bailout?

Because he dropped his maverick persona to pander to the Repub base?

Because he was Dubya's loyal lapdog in 2004?

Because he's been desperate to be Prez his whole career, so much that he even sexed up his campaign with the caribou Barbie?

Because the rigors of the office probably would have killed him by now, and the Sarah! would be Prez? Heck, she could re-invigorate the economy with a wink, at least the part residing in old Rightie-whities' libidos...

More than anything, because he's neither black nor a Democrat...

Lots of perfectly good reasons...

After a month of the pressure palin would had been president after mccain died of the stress and everyone on the earth would had laughed and would had been even worse off.

Although with her record she would had probably quit after a month or two herself like she already did.

Because Sarah Palin is such a serious politician that deserves a chance to run this country.
