No idea which is better. I do remember seeing a post about the viewsonic not that long ago. Try searching the forum for a little while and see if you can find it.

yeah i read it , actually i was for nec but i don't know at is point is worth the extra money compare to the viewsonic ...

Welcome to the forums, if you search viewsonic vx2025 you'll find a wealth of info on the topic including many rave reviews and troubleshooting questions (yes it does have it's problems, but name one component that doesn't...). I'm personally considering one. As for the NEC, it's an awesome LCD, if you're willing to pay that much, but for like $70 more, you can get a 24" dell lcd with 6ms response and 1920x1200 res

eey acegazda thanks!!! glad that this forum is so friendly doesn't happend very often sadly. Anyway yeah actually u make a good point about a 24 " but unfortunatly i live in europe and here a 2407 dell is a about 950? compare to the Nec 550 is a lot atm i think i will stick with 20.1 " .

here samsung rules the scene because they cost much less then the others but this time i want a good one that last me longer than one year ....

yeah the NEC is top notch and will certainly last you a long time. I think it might even have a glossy screen...
