Unlike the DreamCast, the PS2 does not have VGA support. There are a couple devices that are available that will convert the signal to a VGA signal, but it's really just doubling the lines or something along those lines. Not a true VGA 640x480 resolution.

The new controllers are slightly different. All the buttons are analog, which sense how hard you are pressing them. Not that big of deal, though, as you normally don't notice this. But, if you pull out Madden, for example, and do a replay, you can see the analog buttons in action. The harder you press, the faster the playback. Lightly hold it, frame by frame. Harder you press, the faster the playback.
