Give Cheaters their own Servers!

I don't think most cheaters would be satisfied with the experience of cheating other cheaters, probably because cheaters get just as pissed as the rest of us when someone cheats them.

Making servers for cheaters only and preventing as many copies of a game being sold if the cheaters are forced to purchase additional games.

The whole point of online game cheaters is to gain an advantage against those that do not cheat.

So in the cheat enabled servers. It's actually impossible to cheat or be cheated, since all modifications are within the rules.

Really......Explain how if you are CHEATING and everyone else is CHEATING how then you are not CHEATING.

Just because you can't cheat better than the other people and the playing field is even does not mean you are not cheating it just means you don't have a unfair advantage anymore. You are still CHEATING.

I have a better idea. How about they do a better job of preventing hacking in the first place. This is bottom of the barrel of common sense.

Unless they are planning to use this as a great big test so they can document how the cheaters do it and come up with some amazing anti cheating procedures.

It is simply not possible to do. At least not without basically putting a rootkit on the client computer which was ruled illegal to do.

I think what he was trying to communicate was, IF you are cheating to gain an unfair advantage, putting people in a situation where everyone can cheat removes the unfair advantage and levels the playing field.

Personally, I am not convinced that everyone who cheats, cheats to gain an unfair advantage, but that may just be my bias.

In the end, IF they are cheating for that unfair advantage, a separate Cheaters server only serves to be a drain on the people maintaining that server because the Cheaters probably won't use it. They will find some way to get back on the other servers and continue to cheat.

It would be quite funny to watch a server full of cheaters fight each other. I would love to see the rage they would feel when they realize everyone they are playing with is a scumbag like themselves. It would be even better if this process was silent and they were not notified of their cheater status.

stupidest idea i've ever heard. that completely defeats the purpose of why they cheat anyway. Rather ban their game permanently, even from single player, take away their serial key....hard lessons are learned the quickest and would be most effective at prevention in the first place, as long as they put a serious note when activating saying they will lose their validation key if their caught cheating.
and no, i don't want to hear about excuses about how good a player some are and are accused of cheating when their not blah, wah, blah. quite the minority.
