im still around. ive moved all but one comp to LM.
perhaps w/ a slower protein or more well behaved client i will devote some more back to DF.
the box that is still running DF is at my ex gf's house 3.5 hrs away, it appeared to be crunching for a while, but she either stopped crunching or it went idle.

unless the issues w/ the server ever get worked out im not gonna babysit clients, they claim that the client will continue to fold if it cannot connect to the server. which has never worked for my computers. ive came into work on more than one occassion to find all my clients idle overnight and thats a big pet peeve of mine. plus, my last dump of 2000 gens took well over 24 hours. that is not kosher w/ me also. they aknowledge there are hardware issues with the server, but apparently are refusing to take any actions to correct it.

sorry, its nothing against the team at all. quite frankly, i got tired of seeing a certain member on the official forum do nothing but b!tch and moan about everything DF related, even when the servers were working okay. i swear that is most negative and whiney forum i think ive ever read.

im sure i will be back, but issues with the client and server need to be addressed before i will.

edit: i have thrown a p4 1.6a back on it. i will let it run today no net and see if anything has improved.
 
I know how you feel gistech1978, I'm dumping around 3100 gens and they keep timing out after ~5-10 upload. What a PITA! :| Looks like you might pass me xpblackdragon! 😀
