Girls interested only after purchase of car

Has anybody noticed this?

After purchase of new vehicle, girls who did not normally associate with you suddenly show interest after they find out you have purchased a new car?

Are women triggered by some primeval hormone in this case?

I haven't noticed it.

I've found women react more strongly and positively to the purchase of a new puppy v. a new car.

For me it was the opposite. After I bought the Cavalier, I couldn't find any girls interested in me....

I think it's just the women you are around -- those around me didn't treat me differently when I got a new car.
