We heard the rev of an engine, screeching tires and then a large crash followed by the hissing sound of a ruptured radiator.
Question: why would you slam on the breaks to avoid a parked car? Steering wheel > brakes

that sucks. i hope those kids get punished and have to repay the entire value of the car.
two weeks ago, someone crashed into our parked car. it wasn't totaled; the driver door was basically destroyed but that's about all. the idiots didn't leave a note or anything. i guess it's better if you have an individual upon which to place the blame than to have to keep wondering who the idiot was who hit your car (and are hoping that they continually feel guilt for not living up to their actions).

For what though? I've seen it on other cars as well that were missing their bumpers.

Allows air to escape when you shut the trunk.
