Movie wasn't THAT bad.....although I considered hanging myself about halfway through.

Should I make her go watch superman?

Man, I had to watch "The Lakehouse" with my girlfriend on Saturday.

Oh, BTW, Superman sucked. It was boring and they dragged it out.

Go rent Shaun of the Dead

Oh yea, from the preivews, the girl in The Devil Wears Prada looks hot as hell.

Yeah, the only thing about the Devil Wears Prada that looks good is the main girl is hot. Thats just not enough though, I would have vetoed that movie. I can endure a chick flick every once and awhile, but that one? Blech.

I feel for you man, I had to do the same. The only movie I can think of that was more boring was 2001.

The movie made sense to me until the very end, when they actually meet and they are both aware of each other and their relationship together. Didnt Keanu Reeves die in that accident in Sandra Bullocks life/time? How the hell did she meet him again after that?

I haven't seen it but I know it stars my two least favorite actors, Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. Thankfully my GF doesn't like chick flicks that much.

She changed the timeline by sending him another letter. Creating a ripple effect that stopped him from being roadkill. Kinda like the tree earlier on in the movie.

No, the only possible balance to her making you watch that is her watching porn with you.

Watching it? Hell I was thinking that MAKING IT would be a fair trade.

The director of Superman said it was a chick flick BTW. Most people I have talked to say that the movie was good, but had long drawn out part and less action than they were hoping for.

that movie was weird..

my gf made me watch devil wears prada as well, so I made her watch countless hours of porn.

hah, kidding!

i got suckered into this movie also. It was full of "oh my god look at those shoes, etc.."

The movie seem to last forever =(

I watched 'The Devil...' with my wife yesterday, and I enjoyed it
I don't like Meryl Streep that much, but you have to give her credit: she plays brilliantly

To all those complaining about 'shoes and stuff': wake up, you missed the point of the movie
I have to go read the blog (that got that girl fired) on which the movie is based to see how much was padded on in the movie.

On the other hand, I think Superman, Spiderman, X-men all other <whatchamacallit>-man is a waste of film and should be officially banned. And if you watch it, and you are older than ten, you are a sad person.

Yeah we need to get rid of any movie involving the imagination.
