my girl friend cant stop shivering. she is laying in my bed coverd up freexing, shivering, with goose bumps all over her. btw, my room i about 76 degrees at least. what coud be the problem, im tried o get her to a doctor, she refused.

She's shivering, big deal. Do you do to the doctor everytime you get the hiccups? She's probably being overdramatic (like most women) :p

a few weeks back I had a temp of 103+ and was sweating for a while and then the shivers set in ....wife took me to the hospital ... a few does of antibiotics took care of it ..... hope she feels better

Flu.

Probably a fever. If so, the shivering will probably go away in a short while at which point she'll really start feeling shvtty.

Really should check her temp though...

I get that weekly. Then again, my body is unable to regulate its own temperature. I regularly check it and sometimes find it at 95-96F. Thats moderate hypothermia. It'll then take me up to 5 hours under a pile of blankets to stop shivering, only to find I then have a temp of 102.

I had this same issue about 7 months ago. It ended up being severe influenza. I was hospitalized for dehydration. I suggest getting her help soon, since this could be very serious. Honestly, I have never felt like that before. We had a heating blanket and 4 or 5 comforters on me, but I was still frigid.
