People like her should definitely get the death penalty. Any drunk driver who kills other people should in turn be killed.

Wow. I would normally say execute her, but then she would be getting what she wants, so it would make me much happier to see her rot in a jail cell in solitary confinement for the rest of her miserable life.

And I hope her dad drives his car through a tree and dies. Maybe with her lawyer in the car as well.

anyone can sue for any reason, that doesn't mean it won't get thrown out first chance it's up in court.



can this be presented at her sentencing?

I have an idea. Ill shoot the dad and sue his estate for emotional stress caused by my pulling the trigger.

Likely it will. Still though, if there is a husband or victims family involved, the damage is already done. the state should fine the leech of a lawyer a couple of million dollars for even filing this suit. The girl...... she will rot in prison anyway. Put her in a cell with a 260 pound lesbian serial killer.

Permanent disbarment for the lawyer, the father held accountable for all legal fees to the estate and the construction companies, and send the girl away for life, no chance of parole.

The girl is only 16 and unable to sue anyone. This would have to be the father's doing. I imagine he can't come to grips with the fact that he failed so miserably as a parent and is now trying to find someone else to take the blame for the incident. There should be some kind of rule where he gets prison time too.

I can see someone crazy enough to want to do this, but I don't think anyone would care if that lawyer would DIAF.

Why is the innocent person always killed while the person who caused the collision through negligence gets out relatively unscathed?

The suit will get thrown out of court for obvious reasons. I'm not shocked that they had the gall to try it though. Obviously the family has mental issues. Besides, society seems to reward people because apparently nobody is to blame for their own actions.

Triple homicide. Call it premeditated murder since she planned ahead of time to kill herself by causing a collision. Life in prison without parole.

It won't happen but it should.
