I am to in a way. She must have gotten the AC portion of the charging circuit in the tub. That, and she had to be grounded in some way for this to complete the circuit.

Most new hair dryers also have built in GFCI protectors installed at the end of the plug. Not pefect, but better than nothing. Time to add GFCI to the plugs of laptops, lol! :p
