Girl called campus police about thrown water balloons..

So it was a toasty hot day here in Southern California, and my roommates thought it would be fun to go get water balloons and throw some out the window, and save some for water balloon fights later. I personally think it's just dumb to do things like that, and don't see much humor in seeing a stranger get wet..and would certainly be pissed if someone threw one at me while I was walking down the street from four floors up..but nonetheless I really didn't care what they did.

One girl though, who incidentally lives in our building and was a "victim" of a balloon got enraged by it all..and when she was hit she went to the campus police and reported the incident. Afterward we find her who yells at them, but eventually calms down about it all.

One thing leads to another, and the head of our building (which is affiliated with the university) comes to my roommates and talks about how "serious" this incident is..and that there's a "possibility" of them getting cited and/or getting kicked out of the building.

I dont' think you can blame her for getting mad.

I will get mad too if I were going out to class or do something then suddenly some morons thrown water at me and get me all wet.

I can see her point. Suppose she was on the way to a job interview, or something where she didn't want to arrive drenched by a couple of limp dick's tossing water balloons from 4 floors up? Tell your rommates to kick each other in the balls next time they are bored, and to leave other people out of their "fun".

I have done things like that, but only throw the balloons at people I know, and if they aren't carrying something or are dressed nice.

id get mad but i wouldnt be a pussy and call someone over a water balloon

maybe if it ruined some garment i was wearing that was overpriced...maybe then, but a water balloon? id just go kick him in the nuts and be done with it.

Heres hoping they get the proverbial book thrown at them. I'd be mad as all hell if some jackass threw a water balloon at me. Except in my case my revenge usually involves a swift kicking of the ass as opposed to involving the campus nazi's. But seein as she's a chic and whatnot.... Well, see the first sentence...

If someone did that to me, I'd probably go right away to the nearest store and buy all the hoses I need to run a line from the water spigot outside up to their door, slide it under their door with a rock or something jammed in the end to make it spray every direction and let 'er rip for about 10-15 seconds. Long enough to soak everything in their room but not long enough to damage the building. Then I'd promptly clean up the hoses and return/destroy them, thus ditching the evidence.


That, or I'd throw a brick at their trucks.
