I have a close group of friends and a grl we all hang out with and I have been spending a lot of time together lately. But no one is suppossed to know, we have to sneak around. It almost feels like Im cheating or having an affair even though I am single. Anyways, we decided we are going to come out and tell everyone we kind of have a thing for each other so we can see each other without being sneaky or trying to hide.

yep it usually isnt a problem except for the flack you get. of course if you break up roughly...it'll tear the group apart if you both hold a even share in the party. happened to me but i was the quote/unquote "leader"...so she went the way of the doodoo

Im 22. She's 24. We all fall into the 21-24 range. One of my concerns is that if things don't go right, it might indeed tear the group apart.

We are being sneaky because of what our friends might say.

yes...my current girlfriend and I were in the exact same situation. We were a little secretive for like the first week...and then we just started letting people know. It wasn't a big deal.

We initially started messing around over spring break in Florida and when we all came back home to Maryland, we actually brought spring break back with us. It's been abut two weeks now.

Im afraid of ruining our group of friends.

The longer you put it off, the worse it could potentially get.
I still don't see what the problem is, unless you have psycho friends... or you and the girl end up having a psychotic breakup.

But you all seem old enough to be making your own decisions.. if you and the girl are happy, fsck what the others think.

Yep. I eventually married her. Her brothers were my best friends in high school and still are today.
