Just watched this nice movie once again on Space! I have no idea why I like it so much but something in it can drag me away even from a good televised hockey game. Must be the performance of the two young actresses who play the main characters. That plus I like Mimi Rogers even though she's the one who introduced Tom Cruise to scientology ( which means she's a little insane too ;)).

I noticed that IMDB lists the same two main actresses in the sequel and prequel. Are these also nice or did they follow the Howling syndrome where each successive installment gets crappier and crappier?

I have all three on DVD. The second one follows Bridgette's path and what happens to her after the first one. The third movie is a prequel of sorts. It takes place in the 1800's. It's about "the beginning" of the curse for them. The second one is decent, pretty different in terms of style from the first one. The third one is somewhat similar to the first one in terms of what happens between the sisters. I like all three of them, bought two and three blind without seeing a preview or watching them on cable and I don't regret the purchase. Give them a rental.

Not as good as the first one but they aren't horrible. Been a long time though so I might just be saying that because I liked the first one so much ;).

Aren't too many good werewolf flicks. Dog Soldiers is the only other somewhat recent one I can think of that hasn't sucked.

The first one was very good, and the 2nd one was well done too. The 3rd movie was just plain weird and boring IMO.

Gotta love the scene in the 2nd film with the full classroom of girls all masturbating in unison. Good stuff.
