Half and half mix, pretty good stuff!

Half ginger ale and half beer is pretty good, too. That's called a Radler in Germany.

Other good mixed drinks (non alcoholic)?

Never tried it with ginger ale, but orange juice mixed with 7up/Sprite tastes a lot like the limonada I had in Greece.
