Whisky and Ginger Ale is also very refreshing.
Gin and tonic is great

Mojitos suck imo -- tastes like cough medicine.

Tanq No. 10 chilled straight up w/ 3 olives FTW.

In Florida, Gin and Tonic is a perfect drink any time.

This just struck me funny. Could I have a few of these before I go to work? Is it OK?

Yep, especially if you drive to work as a pilot!

😕

Damn, this is going down very nice thank-you...

Bourbon & coke is good too, however, G&T is very refreshing...

Whats your favourite drink for summer

vodka & cranberry

I also prefer the Rum & Coke for mixed drinks. But beer is usually where it's at for me. We have tons of alcohol in our basement that hasn't been touched in years.

My Aunt puts a cucumber slice in her gin & tonic, she says, "it tastes like summer" I said WTF does summer taste like? Fresh cut grass? MmmmMMM grass.

Never had gin and tonic, but here's a good song about it:

"Gin And Tonic" by the Pietasters

The sun sets down on the other side
I turn myself around
I sit right back and fix myself and you are coming down
A jigger of gin and a glass of tonic
A slice of lime will do.
These 3 things will mix together girl and I will dream of you

(chorus: Oooooo girl, I'll drink my way to you
Oooooo girl, I'll drink my way to you)

I turn the screw, I pull the cork
I let the feelings flow
So many days away and still, I still got so far to go
A twist of the wrist and a spark of the fist
That's all it will take
For me to sit alone with my thoughts and they will be of you

(chorus)

Drinking my way to you (x3)
Drinking my way back to you
Drinking my way to you (x4)
----------------------------------------------
Personally, I like whiskey sours.

I believe they qualify as 3rd wave, but they fall in the end that is more towards traditional ska as compared to the side that is more punk-rockish.

Gin and tonics are good, I don't drink them on a regular basis anymore.

Favorite types of gin are Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray 10.

What's a good non-bacardi and reasonably priced rum? I've had 3-4 real bad nights with bacardi in the past and cringe everytime I drink it. Wouldn't mind drinking it again.

I dont like Gin or tonic water. Rum and Coke and Whiskey Sours are both pretty good. After watching Thank You for Smoking I really want to try a mint julip
