Woohoo, today was a nice day. After probably doing good on a math final, I went to the school's computer lab because the administrator needed help cleaning out the junk.
Check out this list of stuff I got to take home:
-A sealed package of a legit win98SE cd and legit cd key. (my first legit OS in 5 years!)
-3 NICs, being tossed because drivers can't be found for them. Yeah, I can solve anything, not to worry.
-IBM DOS 5.0.
-A packaged 486 chip. I'm guessing unused because they generally don't repackage processors there, they just junk them.
-A decent ps/2 keyboard for my second system.
And best of all, I'm that much closer to fullfilling my 75 hrs of required service credit to graduate
Oh, and I forgot to mention, I stopped by chinatown and picked up 2 lbs of pistachios for $5.88. Not free, but still....
