I picked one up for $4.99 at Walgreens (the power one) cuz it was a good deal. I already own an M3 Power AND a Mach 3 Turbo.

So yea. My M3 Turbo cartridge was used about 3 - 4 times (maybe less), and so I decided to put it up against hte new Fusion.
I shaved the left part of my face with the Fusion and the right part of my face with the M3.
Well?
The M3 went smoothly across my face. No effort at all. I've done it so many times, I'm used to it.
Oh I shaved this time WITHOUT POWER for both razors. So I used the M3 as a Mach 3, and the Fusion Power as a regular Fusion.
The Fusion? The grip was bigger, maybe a little better, but I felt clumsy with it. It slide across my face a bit roughly. I heard the cutting of the hair, and I was like wow so loud (maybe cuz I'm used to my M3 on usually). It didn't feel too good though. I felt clumsy dragging it across my face. I felt the cold metal of the blades and at one point my skin was like OW! Maybe it was a slight cut but no blood came out. It just hurt a little.
I slid my hand across both cuts by the M3 and the Fusion and I felt the fusion cut a LOT better. I used 1 stroke for each. Now I did a few more strokes with the Fusion and a few more with the M3, and I still felt the Fusion cut cleaner. I finally went over the M3 shaved area with my Fusion to clean up, and it was still able to clean it up.
Now I know it wasn't hte most fair t est because my M3 power's cartridge was used a few times while the Fusion had a brand new cartridge. However, even when I switch cartridges, I can't say I've ever gotten such a close shave. It's night time already and there's definitely no 5 o'clock shadow nor any hair penetrating still. My skin is stil quite smooth =).
I think the fact that the Fusion is a bit uncomfortable is just because I'm not used to the razor yet. Plus it feels different in my hand, so I can understand. I don't like the fact that I can feel the metal of the blades because there's so many, and that it doesn't run across my skin too smoothly (maybe cuz there's just too many blades).
Bottom line? I have at least 8 more cartridges left for my M3. I will finish using those before I use the Fusion more. I don't have more fusion cartridges, so I'll wait. Plus I don't want to waste money at the moment.
Buy a Fusion if you want a new razor, and are ready to switch. If you have your Mach 3 Turbo or an M3, forget it. Finish your cartridges, or if oyu want to save money, stick with your current Gillette razor. Otherwise it's a pretty good razor IMO.
