I have the power but I can't tell if the power does anything extra. Maybe a closer shave?

Expensive cartridges.

The vibration actually makes the shave smoother imho. I am using power for 10 years i think and whenever I use any non-powered ones, I can feel the drag..

I'm moving on to try a manual razor as soon as someone decides to get me one for a present. Enough of this cartridge shit, it absolutely can't get my lower neck. The only way it can is if I shave against the grain which will leave me in agony all day stinging.

Power makes it feel smoother ... IMO makes no difference to the shave quality though.

I like Power personally. It has been a few years since I have tried the power though.

Tough call on going manual razor. I have been on it for the past few years and while MUCH cheaper it does not give as great of a shave as the Fusion. Manual gives you a Mad Men look to the shave. Gillette can actually pull the hair out from under your skin and cut deeper than any manual. This is why Fusion users are more prone to ingrown hairs. Never had another one once I switched to manual razors. However the shave is no where near as smooth.

Bad side is that girlfriend loves the Gillette blades when I use them. So now I use Gillette while on vacations and date nights and every other day using manual razors.

I guess I used the "power" for a while, but the battery recently died. Oddly, I prefer the shave without the vibration.

Mine technically is the power version but I never turn it on. The few times I have, it didn't make a difference and reduced feeling, so it was harder to tell exactly where the blade was.

Since then I've stopped even using a regular razor, I'm letting my beard grow out and using an electric beard trimmer to keep the neck hair under control and to occasionally reduce the length of the beard.

Buy a safety razor and be done with it.

I bought a pack of 100 blades for the cheap and haven't looked back. Granted, I shave maybe twice a week.
