Gilbert really comes off as the type of guy that runs his mouth.. but he's very down to earth with his fans.

whats creepy about it? kid emails him, kid not sure if its really gil, he asks kid to come down to meet him, gets him a job and meet his college basketball coach, becomes friendly and calls him when he starts college to check up on him.

I know it's not really that creepy, just a kind of...odd. Not saying that it isn't cool and all. Heck, I've become to know some people online very well (mainly my clan members who've I've 'been with' [lol] for 4 years) so I can understand

Gilbert is not your average NBA player. From what I've seen I quite like him. Too bad the Warriors couldn't pay enough to keep him.

Yeah he is awesome, but baron davis is not a bad replacement. I mean that beard alonegets them through the first round of the playoffs.
