You may think I'm kiding but you should try looking at the stuff while wearing sunglasses with polarizing lenses.

With polarizing lenses you can look right through tinted or mirror windows basically as if they were untreated...I dunno about these Gila films, though.

My have Maui Jim sunglasses. They are polarized. I'll have to test that. I'll report back when I apply the film.

I tried looking at the picture above while wearing the glasses and it still looked mirrored...just kidding!

there was another thread on home tinting that I posted this pic on...

Here

Cool! Thanks! Did you put it on yourself?

yep...it really helps if you have ever worked with tint before...if you haven't, it will take a few windows to get up to speed...

also, the mirror tint is maximum day time privacy...at night, you can definitely see through them from the outside if a light is on inside...

Interesting about the film, "also, the mirror tint is maximum day time privacy...at night, you can definitely see through them from the outside if a light is on inside.."

My gf just moved into a new apartment/house. It's kind of close to another house next door (maybe 25 feet or so). One of her bedroom windows faces another window in the house next door and I wanted to put the film on that window so that they couldn't see in. She also has blinds. But, you're saying that if it is night time and the light is on and we were to walk by the window naked, then the people would probably be able to see in?

yes, they would be able to see you at night if you didn't shut the blinds...
