I'm loving the Giganticon app for Android. Makes the teeny tiny Android icons (well, they are small for me coming from a Windows Phone environment) and embiggens them to a more glorious and cromulent size. Epically good app, my chaps. :D

And no, I'm not a child, old, or legally blind...

That's a larger size, there is one that is smaller but not as small as the normal icons, and it can also go even bigger, taking up an entire page for an icon. It's free for 2 widgets, but unlimited costs $0.99. Well worth it for me, though other people might just think it's a funny app.

That's all sorts of hilarious. I've always liked setting my desktop icons in Windows to Huge.

For the folder thumbnails I tend to go with medium or large, never liked small regardless of screen size. My desktop is usually clean, I think the last time I had more than 5 or 6 icons (usually none, not even the Recycle Bin) was back in the days of Windows 98. I was looking around for a icon setting in Android initially, then I heard about this app. You definitely get used to certain features and functions from a desktop OS.

To be honest, I think the icons I had were a bit too big in my initial settings, so I've settled on this:

I have 3 pages set up (in addition to Blinkfeed) of my favorite apps now. I think it looks cleaner without app labels - I don't need the text to know the names - and the size of the icons is perfect for me.

i think you can already do this with a launcher such as apex, or holo. not sure if it can get THAT big though.

with, desktop visualizer, you can use any pic as an icon but thats slightly off topic.

Nova does this up to 130%. I use 110% icon size on my homescreens which is a far cry from the gigantic ones in the OP's image. :)
