Gigantic quoting strings (possible bug)

In the old forum software nested quotes would mess up the
formatting and cause a horizontal scroll bar to appear. This
no longer happens (the scroll bar appearing) but things are
still being messed up.

at one of the large nested sections. If you make your window
small enough words get cut off on the right and are no longer
readable. Is there a way to fix this?

edit: Here is a pic of what I'm talking about for those that don't get this.
