Hi,

Recently on my local store I found the following product:

Gigacube ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128Mb DDR VIVO

My questions (I know some of them may already be answered with posts/reviews):

[1] Uhm ... Gigacube? Anyone heard of it? Is it trustworthy?

[2] So, 9600 Pro 128Mb should be a good card? It's comparable to a 9500 Pro right?

[3] When are the Geforce FX 5900 suppose to hit the market?

Thanks

Giga Cube is a new branch of Gigabyte.
That's the card I want. Where did you see it and how much?
The 9500 pro is still a little faster, but I like the DirectX 9 compliance and the .13 of the 9600Pro and the VIVO.
Don't know about 5900 but think I read that they are starting to show up now.

Where did I see it? Portugal! It's appearing everywhere I normally use to go ... :) Price 235? :(

Is it a reasonable price? I get a discount, maybe I'll get it at around 180?, but I'll have to ask.

Is 235? reasonable? Is it 180? good? (of course 180? is better than 235? :D)

DirectX 9 compliance? Isn't the 9500 Pro a Dx9.0 card too?

In live in Spain, and for 235? I can get a 9500pro. The 9600pro is between 200-210?.

9600 pro's are great cards for the price. 5900's are out but they are over twice as much.

The big HW sites offer R9500pros for about 155-175 Euro, so 235 seems too much. The R9600 is supposed to cost less than the R9500.

Anyone with this card can give some info about the overclockability?

Which values? Which software you used to overclock?
