Gigabyte's EasyTune 4

It seems that the "Fixed AGP/PCI" settings in the bios (PIE1000MK) don't do anything. If I OC the FSB it changes too.
Is this normal?

Another question is, how does the Easy Mode work? I use it because it reached the limit without freezing my system. How does it know when to stop?

BTW, Could my 2.4B be "faulty" and not able to run at more than 2.66GHz? right now its at 2540(by easy tune) and indeed more than that and things get unstable.
The only other thing I can think of it the fact I have a PCI USB2.0 card in a PCI slot. I actually don't need it...I could use new mobo's USB exits. Could that be the problem?

from easytune help:
Easy Mode:
At easy mode, you are only allowed to change the System Bus Clock. After selecting yourdesire system bus clock value, click on the "Auto Optimize" to accept the setting.

i cant say that the chip is faulty, maybe just not a good ocer
