Just built a system with a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P (rev. 1.6) motherboard. I have two of the same exact Western Digital hard drives and this is what has been going on since I booted the monster up.

When I boot, I get stuck on "Verifying DMI Pool Data"

All hardware is fine. I've check everything. I want to flash the BIOS next.

Has anyone experienced this before?

First check that everything is connected as it should be, particularly the HDD(s) and FDD (if you have one).

Then clear the CMOS.

Here's some stuff I've found using a Google search:

http://www.duxcw.com/faq/computer/dmi.html
http://www.techsupportforum.co...mi-pool-data-bios.html
http://www.dewassoc.com/suppor...98/verify_dmi_data.htm

If you want to flash the bios, read this guide first:
http://forums.tweaktown.com/f6...ow-qflash-guide-27576/

READ THE GUIDE CAREFULLY... I won't be responsible if you kill your MB.
