Gigabyte Xtreme 1080 Issue

Got my new 1080 last week. Got it installed. I played for about a week without any issue. Today I'm trying to game and after about 5 minutes my monitors disconnect and the fans on my card go to 100%. When this happens the card is below 60C. I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. I can't think of anything else to do. It's only when I game. I've contacted Gigabyte support. Does anyone here have an idea of what else to try?

This is starting to be way too common, I'm seeing many people with 1070s and 1080s suddenly dying in similar fashion..

Your best hope is to rma the card :\
 
Just to clear this up and not ding Gigabyte's card. I had a faulty power cable from the PSU to the card. All is well and this thing screams. Carry on. 🙂
