Hello,

Are they the same motherboard with a different bios or are there design changes?

You can download the BIOS'es and check the hash/checksum on each. Almost as quickly as we can to answer that.

How would the bios tell me that - you could have two different boards with the same components but have a design change such as spacing.

Well it could only answer half of your question, the one about different BIOS. The other you can look for yourself from photos.

If it says REV it means they changed something... it can be for the good or for worse because of supply demands.
But generally they will perform the same, unless its a major revision which then it would be a 2.X and not a 1.X.

So i wouldn't sweat it too much.
