Just wanted to ask you all for advice. I just recently got my Gigabyte X79 UD7 with GSkill 16GB of RAM. For those of you who may be familiar with the board you will see 2x black RAM slot and 2x orange RAM slot. All 4 sticks of my RAM are able to post under the black slots but anytime I put a stick in the orange slot, the computer will not post at all.
I suspect the orange slot is defective, unless there is something I am missing. I just wanted to see if any of you have any idea on this. Thanks.
