Hey guys,

So I am not sure if this should be a windows7 question or a Motherboard question...

I installed everything on the board and a few peripherals are not working on the motherboard:

1. Plextor 800a can install windows7 but once I enter windows it does not recognize the disk

Use the SATA 2 ports first. According to Anand's review there is no performance difference between the two outside some marginal cases. (Crucial C300 SSDs) SATA 2 ports are rooted in ICH10R which is the board's native chipset, not an auxiliary controller.

Unless you are setting up a RAID array, I'd suggest you install the OS with only one HDD connected first. You can add the rest once OS installation is complete.

thanks I did that and it worked but now the dvd-rw does nto work

I'd suggest replacing any IDE optical drives with newer SATA optical drives.
